This image is from an early Father-Son canoe trip. Osceola Landing was the preferred camping spot for almost two decades before it became too popular to guarantee a place for up to forty canoers.
The early trips had no chairs, just buckets. There was an eight canoe limit (later trips grew to 16 canoes.
