The original Rifle Range was deep in the forest. It was moved a few times due to floods and mosquitoes. During a project by St Johns River Water Management District to the north of camp, we were able to obtain several loads of soft dirt to make an adquate backstop. During the cabin construction, a pad was poured using surplus concrete. Eventually, the brothers at Brooksville Bible Chapel sponsored the construction of a shelter. A counter was added later.
